TXM Recruit is partnering with a prominent automation and intralogistics company to hire a Maintenance Shift Engineer for an existing facility in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on maintaining state-of-the-art machinery to ensure seamless distribution operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods is a plus.
• Experience with PLC systems and their functionality.
• Basic MS Office skills; CMMS experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly tasks with basic field wiring.
• Manage time using CMMS to target high utilization.
• Complete reactive repairs within set timeframes to minimize downtime.
• Service and repair installed equipment, taking hands-on ownership of issues.
• Interpret electrical schematics and work with 415V motor controls.
• Prioritize health and safety through risk assessments.
• Read and follow assembly drawings with attention to detail.
• Follow setup instructions and checklists precisely.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
