Express Recruitment are excited to be representing an industry-leading manufacturer based in Grantham, who are looking for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Fitter to join their team.

Their successful candidate will diagnose and fix manufacturing machines and mechanical parts, along with setting up, changing over, and servicing machines. They will also test and inspect electrical systems and circuits whilst ensuring all works completed and compliant with Health and Safety policies and company standards.

Their ideal candidate will have industrial experience with manufacturing machines, possess electrical qualification or apprenticeship experience, and possess a full, clean UK Driving Licence.

The company are offering a competitive hourly pay of £18.72 per hour D.O.E. The working hours for this role are Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm with a 30-minute break (40 hours basic a week). When required, there may be weekday late shifts available in the future (Monday – Friday 11:30am – 8:00pm) with the company offering a £75 bonus for completing a whole week with this shift pattern. For any overtime completed over the weekend (up to 8 hours a week), the pay is x1.25 on Saturdays and x1.5 on Sunday. Additional benefits for the role include extensive comprehensive training.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix manufacturing machines and mechanical parts
• Set up and changing over machines with a team of operatives
• Service machines on a regular basis
• Advise management with regards to machine hazards
• Test and inspect electrical systems and circuits
• Ensure compliance with company and Health and Safety policies and standards

Skills and Experience

• Experience working with manufacturing machines in an industrial background
• Possess an electrical qualification or apprenticeship experience (City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 desirable)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package including Word and Excel
• Demonstrable experience working within a team and by own initiative in a manufacturing environment
• Possess a full, clean UK Driving Licence
