Job summary

Randstad CPE is partnering with a fast-scaling manufacturing business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias. The role covers maintenance, fault finding and improvements across production lines, with a 24/7 Panama shift pattern and generous leave and pension benefits.

You will operate and set up machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and keep precise records of maintenance actions to support a reliable plant history. Candidates must be time served and IT fluent.

Qualifications

• Time served
• Experience in a manufacturing/process environment
• Flexible to work in all areas of the facility
• Able to commit to the Panama rota
• Experience with Word and Excel IT systems

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment to required standards.
• Set up machinery for production operations.
• Periodically test machine safety features.
• Complete planned and preventative maintenance schedules with clear records.
• Complete routines and works orders including parts used and time taken.
• Review maintenance routines for best use of resources.
• Store and record maintenance routines.
• Record plant breakdowns or work requests to build an accurate plant history.
• Provide easy access to procedures, drawings and manuals.
• Ensure all breakdowns are reported to failure mode level
