Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an electrically biased Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a Thetford site. The role covers planned maintenance, fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems, and hands-on involvement with installation and commissioning of new machinery.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong electrical fault-finding ability.
• Exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems is advantageous.
• Comfortable with rotating shift patterns and flexibility.
• Confident communicator across all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and planned maintenance to keep production machinery running.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Work safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
