Job description

Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Location: Thurrock, Grays

Shift Pattern: Continentals 2 Days / 2 Nights / 6-6

Salary: £55,000

We are seeking a motivated maintenance engineer to join a UK-leading manufacturer. Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within the operation. Role Responsibilities:
  1. Providing reactive and preventative (PPM) maintenance
  2. Responding to machine breakdowns
  3. Working with sensors, drives, relays, inverters
  4. Maintaining conveyors, bearings, belts, chains, wrappers, baggers
  5. Supporting robots, blow moulding, injection moulding machinery
  6. Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Maintenance experience in a relevant environment
  2. BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (required)
  3. HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
  4. 18th Edition wiring regulations (desirable)
  5. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  6. Experience in FMCG, heavy industry, or distribution sectors (advantageous)
  7. Mechanical and electrical skills (desirable)
