Job summary

Pareto FM is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias for our Hemel Hempstead site. You will provide planned and reactive maintenance across building services, prioritising electrical works while applying wider M&E skills to keep the site safe and efficient.

You will diagnose problems, work independently when needed, and be supported by a strong Engineering Team Leader and FM team. Occasional travel to Covent Garden, Milton Keynes and Loughborough is covered.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) is required.
• City & Guilds 2357 NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• AM2 qualification is required.
• Previous electrical maintenance experience in commercial, FM or building-services environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Good understanding of safe working practices.
• Independent and client-facing with a flexible, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests from initial report to completion.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and building-services issues.
• Complete electrical installation and remedial works.
• Support wider M&E maintenance including mechanical, plumbing and HVAC within competency.
• Maintain accurate logs using Infraspeak.
• Review RAMS and ensure safe working practices are followed.
• Plan works to minimise client disruption.
