Job summary

CBRE Cardiff is seeking an Electrical Bias Engineer to join the team in Cardiff, Wales. The role focuses on installing and maintaining plant and equipment, ensuring rapid rectification of faults and strong fault‑finding in critical environments.

The successful candidate will perform breakdown maintenance within SLAs, apply risk‑based maintenance, and contribute to documentation, incident reports, and coordination with the Technical Services Manager. Overnight on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations required.
• Experience with building management systems and HVAC is desirable.
• IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLAs.
• Install and maintain plant and equipment in data centre environments.
• Test and diagnose power quality issues using onsite power analysers.
• Provide emergency response standby and on-call support.
• Maintain critical engineering documentation & records; coordinate with Tech Services Manager.
