Matchtech Group client seeks an Associate Director - Electrical to join its Manchester office on a permanent basis. This senior leadership role combines advanced electrical engineering, project delivery, client management, and team leadership to grow the northern business unit.

You will lead design, governance and key rail projects, mentoring staff while developing strong client relationships and contributing to bids.

Formación

• Extensive experience in engineering design consultancy with complex rail projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams and deliver outputs to client standards.
• Chartered status or active progression toward chartership in a recognised institution.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional out-of-hours in rail environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead advanced electrical design and critique work completed by others.
• Act as Electrical Team Leader on rail projects ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
• Prepare designs, calculations, and reports using RELUX, AMTECH and DIALUX.
• Provide governance, QA, and compliance across electrical services.
• Support project assurance submissions for Network Rail and TOCs.
• Plan, programme and control projects including resources, risk and cost.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to bids and regional growth.
• Mentor graduates and engineers, supporting Manchester office development.
