Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking an Electrical Assistant to join its Repairs and Maintenance team in Chesterfield. You will support qualified electricians with day-to-day repairs, fault-finding and installation work in social housing properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Assistant to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. This varied role will involve supporting qualified electricians with day-to-day repairs and maintenance, as well as refurbishment work in council homes across Chesterfield. The successful candidate will assist with electrical repairs, fault-finding and installation work. You should have experience of working alongside qualified electricians in domestic properties, either in a similar role or within the wider building trade. Knowledge of other trade skills, and an ability to work effectively alongside different trades, would be advantageous.,
Previous experience of working in social housing would be beneficial, although it is not essential.
