SSE plc is seeking an Electrical Asset Integrity Engineer to safeguard the medium- and long-term integrity of operational assets and contribute to development projects. You will ensure the wind farm’s electrical infrastructure remains safe, reliable and high performing, while minimising downtime and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Operational environment experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of asset management frameworks and maintenance strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with electrical standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical asset integrity projects across the asset lifecycle, improving reliability and efficiency.
• Develop long-term asset management and maintenance strategies, including spares management.
• Provide expert technical support and conduct root-cause investigations.
• Manage engineering projects from planning to delivery, including budgeting and compliance.
• Collaborate with operations, OEMs, contractors and specialists to drive improvement.
