Job Description
We are supporting a global company based in Peterborough to find an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to work within their large-scale chemical regeneration Plant and Water Treatment Service Centre.
The Role
This role involves the electrical builds of water treatment equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, troubleshooting and rectifying errors in technical drawings.
As an Electrical Assembly Technician, responsibilities include fabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assemblies, working with single-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuits.
You will use blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and schematics to complete builds, maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications include City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent, at least 3 years of electrical experience, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, NVQ3 in electrical units, and City and Guilds 2391 for testing and inspection.
Computer literacy and familiarity with MS Office are required. Experience in Water Treatment Industry is advantageous.
Salary and Benefits:
Basic £42,000 per annum plus overtime. First 5 hours at time and a half, then double time. 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times.
