Electrical Assembly Technician

Location:Fareham
Job Type:Permanent Monday to Friday 7.00am - 04.30pm
Salary:Depending on Experience £28,000 - £40,000

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team!
If you have strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, enjoy hands-on work, and can follow complex technical instructions, this is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble cable loomsand route wiring into mechanical assemblies
  • Build and install componentsinto a variety of electrical assemblies
  • Fit and terminate cables and connectorswith precision
  • Read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • Carry out mechanical integration and electrical testing as needed
  • Ensure work meets internal quality standards and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, technical drawings, and documentation
  • Proficient with hand tools and basic test equipment (e.g., multimeter, crimpers, soldering iron)
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Familiarity with cable looms, connectors, and board-level assemblies is a plus.
