Job summary

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to support our client based in Dunstable. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our clients Production operations.

You will assist day-to-day production activities including assembly of electrical distribution boards, surge kits, cable kits, and weatherproof products, while ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical components or willingness to learn.
• Experience in light manufacturing or electrical assembly preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products (Defenders, kits, enclosures) as per BOMs and work instructions.
• Carry out cable preparation using wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and heat shrinking.
• Label, package, and finish products; maintain production records.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to meet daily targets.
• Report faults, damages, or quality concerns immediately.
