Job summary

Cable Components Telford is recruiting for Assembly Operatives in a busy manufacturing environment in Telford. The role focuses on assembling electrical boxes from drawings and performing quality checks to meet production targets.

You will also handle brazing, packing, and general duties across departments, with training provided and potential for permanent employment. Travel to Stafford Park and Halesfield sites is required.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, production, or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings or work instructions.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work across different departments and sites when required.
• Reliable transport or the ability to travel to both Stafford Park and Halesfield sites.
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Assembling electrical boxes from technical drawings
• Carrying out occasional brazing work
• Performing quality checks on completed products
• Picking and packing products when required
• Heavy lifting and manual handling of products and materials
