Job summary

Metalis is recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Operative in Middleton, Manchester. You will assemble and test electrical panels, wiring and install LEDs, using engineering drawings and specs to ensure quality.

Work with an experienced team, maintain high workmanship standards and meet production deadlines. We seek a candidate with at least 3 years in electrical assembly or soldering, strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical assembly or soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or production drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.
• Desirable: experience with LED products.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and testing of lighting and electrical panels.
• Electrical wiring and LED installation.
• Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Carrying out visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Ensuring correct component placement and safe power routing.
• Working closely with an experienced production team.

You'll be assembling and testing electrical panels used within a range of innovative products for well-known brands and blue-chip companies.
