Electrical Assembly Operative / Electrical Fitter

Our client is a successful and highly reputable vehicle manufacturer and conversion specialist. They are looking for people to join them as an Electrical Assembly Operative / Electrical Assembler / Electrical Fitter. This role will go permanent after 3 months worked probation, and will have a pay increase once you go permanent.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

• Previous experience of Electrical Assembly / Electrical Fitting in a manufacturing role, where care and attention to detail is important (e.g. Auto Electrician would be ideal).
• Experience of working with relevant tools e.g. hand / power tools and air operated tools, etc.
• The ability to understand and follow complex engineering drawings / schematics / assembly instructions.
• Full UK Driving License

The company is looking for people that are used to working with hand and power tools, and that can follow diagrams and instructions with precision. Ideally you will be from a vehicle manufacturing, coach building, or similar Automotive related industry, however this is not essential.

As an Electrical Assembly Operative, you will play a key role in the installation of electrical devices and parts, wiring looms, and other related electrical activities. You will always ensure every task in the build process is completed to the highest quality standards. The role works within a continuous hand assembly process - working with relevant tools, to ensure the production process continues to flow efficiently. You will also be asked to do vehicle testing, repairing and commissioning components.

Salary: GBP12.50 to GBP13.00 per hour + Overtime (The salary will increase once you go permanent)

Hours of work: Monday - Wednesday, 6.00am to 4.00pm, and Thursday 6.00am to 3.00pm. Friday, Saturday & Sunday are available for overtime.
