Position: ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

Location: THAME

Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 Per Annum

Our client, a unique and growing business, is looking for several assembly operatives to join their team on a permanent basis, assisting with daily production functions. The role involves carrying out general production duties for a wide range of products.

Available shifts include:

• Day shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday around midday.
• Late shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday to Thursday, with hours on Friday from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks according to established specifications and instructions.
• Follow the Production Plan provided by the Production Planner.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, report issues to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Use resources efficiently to achieve job results.
• Ensure all items are QC checked before processing to minimize faulty or incorrect parts.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Communicate any issues to managers and directors.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.

Essential Experience:

• Ability to carry out tasks independently.
• Full training provided on products and procedures.
• Know when to escalate issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
