Job summary
BRUSH Group is seeking a Technician to provide technical leadership in production. You will oversee technicians on projects, ensure schedules are met, and collaborate with projects, logistics, quality, and engineering to solve production problems.
Experience with Electrical/Mechanical switchgear assembly and wiring, reading drawings, and a high attention to detail is essential. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience of Electrical/Mechanical switchgear assembly & wiring.
- Panel & Control wiring; reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Support Production Supervisor and drive specific work activities delegated as part of the production plan.
- Provide technical leadership on work packages assigned to problem-solve and make technical decisions in the team leader's absence.
- Undertake assembly and build of equipment to meet production deadlines and to high quality standards.
- Take accountability for team members and drive professionalism and quality.
- Communicate progress, issues, risks, and improvements to Production Supervisor/Project Managers; deputize for the team leader.
- Carry out line checks to maintain quality throughout the build.
