Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is seeking Electrical Apprentices for its 2026 intake, primarily in Portsmouth. This unique opportunity combines on-the-job training with practical experience in the engineering field.
Apprentices will work alongside experienced engineers, assisting with installations and maintenance while receiving full training at Bath College. As part of our Apprentice intake for 2026, we are recruiting Electrical Apprentices to work within our Delivery teams in the following regions: Thames Valley (Reading Area), Portsmouth Region, and Maidstone region.

As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers, assisting in electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across client sites. You will receive on‑the‑job training and support to develop your electrical engineering skills and knowledge.
Contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. The role is field‑based and you will be paid travel time door‑to‑door.
All college days will be conducted at the Bridges HQ in Midsomer Norton and you will operate under a block release schedule at Bath College.
