Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Exeter, Devon

Salary: £42,000

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's maintenance team on a critical site in Exeter! You'll be joining a market leader within commercial property maintenance, with guaranteed training, opportunities to progress internally, and valuable work satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee a team of M&E maintenance engineers.
  2. Provide technical support and act as the site's Electrical Authorised Person (AP).
  3. Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance.
  4. Ensure all electrical systems are running efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Electrical Installations / Engineering (C&G / NVQ / EAL or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years' experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Live in a commutable distance to the site.
  • Ability to lead a team.

Key Duties:

  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct HV and LV isolations and switching operations safely.
  • Operate and maintain UPS systems, standby generators, HV/LV infrastructure, and cooling systems.
  • Monitor BMS and SCADA systems for optimal operation.
  • Maintain operational logs, work permits, and statutory documentation.

Salary & Benefits:
