Job description

Affinity Water is the UK's largest clean water-only company, and our site in Iver has an incredibly diverse and talented team.

We have an excellent new opportunity for an Electrical and Mechanical Technician.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for completing electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment.

Each day, you'll complete a maintenance routine schedule to ensure our sites, storage facilities, and pumping stations operate reliably and efficiently.

Your day will be varied, managing planned and reactive work, with training and tools provided to support your success.

You will also play a key role in local infrastructure projects and site improvements, working closely with stakeholders and sharing your opinions.

Traveling between sites will be facilitated by a company van, and a full UK driving license is required.

Production Technician Experience Required:
  • Full electrical apprenticeship, relevant HNC, or equivalent qualification such as City & Guilds Level 3. Overseas qualifications must be UK equivalent.
  • Experience with industrial electrical equipment in process-driven environments.
  • Full UK driving license.

  • Salary package up to £48,119, including basic salary, flex allowance, and standby payments.
  • Core hours: 08:00-16:00 (Mon-Thu), 08:00-15:30 (Fri).
  • Standby 1:7, with standby payment of £4727 after training.
