Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

A leading food processing company has an immediate requirement for an experienced electrical/mechanical maintenance engineer to join their team at their factory in Kilkeel, BT34 4AF.

Kilkeel, County Down, Northern Ireland, BT34 4AF

Salary:

Circa £40,000 – £50,000 plus benefits

Job Responsibilities:

• Service and repair plant machinery and vehicles including refrigeration, chillers, HVAC systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant and machinery
• Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs
• Install and test new parts and equipment
• Support machinery commissioning and maintenance strategy development

Key Skills Required:

• Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, HVAC, refrigeration units
• Experience with removal, fitting, and repair of pumps, motors, fans, and ancillary equipment
• Knowledge of control panels and pipework is an advantage
