Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an AM2 Assessor in Wigan to evaluate electrical apprentices during AM2 practical assessments and to ensure candidates meet industry standards. The role focuses on observing performance, giving constructive feedback, and maintaining rigor in assessment records.

The ideal candidate is a qualified Electrician with current electrical installation experience and a solid understanding of regulations and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with up-to-date Electrical Installation experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations and industry standards.
• AM2 knowledge or apprenticeship assessment experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess Electrical apprentices undertaking AM2 practical assessments.
• Observe and assess practical Electrical Installation tasks against standards.
• Provide clear feedback and maintain assessment records.
• Prepare assessment areas, equipment and resources.
• Ensure safety and health standards in all assessments.
• Collaborate with curriculum and assessment teams.
