  • Desirable: HGV Licence (min C) and Full UK driving licence.

Electric Vehicle Sales Executive

Ford and Slater are one the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business with annual Truck sales of over 2,000 units. We currently have a vacancy for an EV Sales Executive, based flexibly as needed across the group.

Who are we looking for as an EV Sales Executive:

  • A driven sales professional and confident communicator.
  • Ideally having previous Sales experience in/job role with passion for Electric Vehicles, Heavy Commercial Vehicle industry or an associated product / sector.
  • Influencing skills with the ability and confidence to convert enquiries to sales.
  • Excellent customer management skills to build long lasting relationships.
  • Professionalism, with a commitment to adhering to process and procedure.
  • Passion and enthusiasm to deliver excellent customer service.
  • IT Literate.
  • HGV Licence min C is desirable (but not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence.

The EV Sales Executive role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Managing the business’ DAF Electric truck demonstration fleet
  • Implementing appropriate business strategies to ensure maximum customer interface, market growth and profitability for DAF Electric truck sales.
  • Spending time individually with Truck Sales field team, to support local initiatives and sales development.
  • Working with existing DAF Electric accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturer, colleagues and the dealer network as a whole.
