Job summary

Ember in Scotland is hiring drivers to join a fast-growing, fully-electric coach service. Start dates from September 2026 with routes across Scotland, including Oban as a new location. Qualifications

• Full PCV licence: Category D as a minimum.
• Up to date CPC and a digital tachograph card (or able to get both quickly).
• Able to demonstrate high-quality driving, including smooth braking and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work early, late or night shifts on any day of the week.

Responsibilities

• As a driver, you're on the front-line. You’ll be the main point of contact for customers if they have any issues or need help.
• Oban team is tight-knit and based away from central functions; be resourceful, motivated, solution-focused and ready to resolve daily challenges.
• Enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering a great passenger experience, including helping with bags, keeping the coach clean and greeting passengers.
• We have built new technology to help ensure customers get the best experience; be open to learning and using new systems.
• As a small business, we place trust in drivers; expect light cleaning duties and input on how we can improve, in a thoughtful way.
