Job summary

Ember is recruiting professional drivers to join a pioneering team in Thurso, Scotland. You will drive a state-of-the-art electric coach, deliver excellent passenger experiences and be the frontline face for customers. We operate 24/7 across Scotland and value proactive teamwork and input on improving operations.

Starting rates and progression opportunities reflect our growth plans; successful drivers can move through overtime and ambassador roles as the company expands its network.

Qualifications

• Full PCV licence: Category D minimum.
• Up-to-date CPC and a digital tachograph card (or ability to obtain both quickly).
• Demonstrate high-quality driving, including smooth braking and a commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work early, late or night shifts on any day of the week.

Responsibilities

• Drive the state-of-the-art electric coaches across Scotland and be the main contact for customers if they have issues.
• Maintain the coach and operate as part of a tight-knit Thurso team.
• Deliver a great passenger experience and assist with bags, cleanliness and friendly greetings.
• Learn and use Ember's new systems and contribute ideas for improvements.
