Responsibilities & Qualifications

Novelis Corporation, a leader in rolled aluminum and can recycling, has opportunities at its Terre Haute, IN plant for experienced Industrial Electricians. Ideal candidates will be dedicated to safe working practices, eager to learn new processes, and capable of working as part of a team to achieve Novelis Focus 5 goals in EHS, Quality, Operational Excellence, Customer Centricity, and Return on Capital Employed. The plant is located at 5901 N. 13th Street, north of Terre Haute.

The primary role involves performing repairs and maintenance on electronic equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with environmental and safety standards. Candidates should have at least two years of proven industrial electrical maintenance experience or a BS in Electrical Technology or equivalent. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized work environment, documenting work in the computerized maintenance management system, troubleshooting electrical issues, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Novelis operates on a seven-day, four-shift schedule. The current hourly wage for electricians is $25.12, with additional shift differentials, overtime, and potential quarterly bonuses.
