E-learning Developer

2-3 Month Contract

Home based

My client are seeking a creative and technically skilled E-Learning for a 2-3 Month to create SCORM files for a learning management system that will replace face to face training. This home is home based with occasional travel to Client site in Warwickshire:

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Stakeholders to understand Functional requirements for the Learning Management system.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to understand learning objectives and translate them into engaging content.
  • Use multimedia elements (graphics, audio, video, animations) to enhance learner engagement.
  • Test and troubleshoot eLearning content for usability and technical accuracy across platforms (LMS, mobile, desktop).
  • Maintain and update existing eLearning courses as needed.
  • Ensure courses meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and work across various browsers and devices.
  • Upload and manage content in Learning Management Systems.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience developing eLearning content and digital training materials.
  • Experience with SCORM 1.2 format
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools
  • Solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI and LMS integration.
  • Basic graphic design and multimedia editing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with FCA and SRA regulations
