Purosearch Ltd. is seeking an experienced Care Home Manager / Registered Manager for a smaller, high‑quality elderly care home in Macclesfield.

You will lead day‑to‑day operations, ensuring exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance while driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will manage a dedicated staff team, oversee budgets and occupancy, and build strong relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within the elderly care sector.
• Experience as Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or equivalent senior care manager.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, inspections and quality assurance.

We are recruiting an exceptional manager to lead a beautiful, smaller care home within an amazing care organisation, supported by a fantastic staff team and a commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred care.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced elderly care professional to take ownership of a care service, lead a dedicated team and make a genuine difference to the lives of residents.

We are looking for a confident, hands-on manager with strong CQC knowledge, excellent leadership skills and proven business management abilities.

The Role – Care Home Manager / Registered Manager

As Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager or Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, staff performance and business success.

Essential Requirements

• Essential: Proven management experience within the elderly care sector.
• Experience as a Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, Registered Manager or equivalent senior care manager.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, inspections and quality assurance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and business management capabilities, including budgets and occupancy.
• A proactive, organised and hands-on management approach.
• A genuine commitment to delivering high standards of care for older people.

Qualifications

A nursing qualification and current NMC PIN are preferred but are not essential.
