A prominent defendant firm is seeking an experienced EL/PL solicitor to join their Corporate Risk division on a remote working basis. Your new company
Our client is a highly-regarded defendant firm with offices nationwide. They are currently recruiting for a 2+ PQE EL/PL solicitor to join their Corporate Risk division on a remote working basis, working on a range of casualty claims on behalf of large corporate clients.
Your new role
This Corporate Risk EL/PL Solicitor role will see you responsible for your own caseload of defendant EL and PL claims on behalf of large corporate clients. Files will be a mix of litigated and pre-litigated work. You will be expected to build and maintain positive relationships with these clients. The majority of files will be valued at up to £25,000, but there is the opportunity to work on higher value claims.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive. Experienced non-qualified individuals may also be considered. You must have at least 2 years' experience handling your own litigated caseload of EL/PL claims valued up to £25,000. You must have experience assessing quantum on multi-track claims. Applicants from a defendant background are preferable, but claimants will also be considered. You must be able to operate and comply with the firms' in-house case management system and must be able to handle your own caseload with minimal supervision.
