Job summary

Minster Law is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Executive to manage a portfolio of EL and PL claims from inception to settlement. This role blends remote working with Bristol-based responsibilities, focusing on delivering excellent client care and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

You will handle MOJ Portal, non-Portal and litigated EL/PL claims, draft legal documents, negotiate settlements with insurers, and advance claims with a proactive, commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• Experience handling MOJ Portal, non-Portal and litigated personal injury claims.
• Strong knowledge of claimant EL and PL claims.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and challenging situations while maintaining high standards of client service.
• Proactive and commercially aware approach to case management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of claimant EL and PL injury claims from inception to settlement.
• Deliver exceptional client care and maintain regular client contact throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Analyse evidence and research legal issues relating to liability, causation and quantum.
• Draft legal documents, including witness statements, pleadings and schedules of loss.
• Negotiate with insurers and third parties to secure the best possible settlements for clients.
• Obtain interim payments and facilitate appropriate rehabilitation support.
• Identify litigated claim opportunities and progress claims where necessary.
• Work within a task-based case management system to ensure service standards are maintained.
• Contribute to the department's profile and success through professional engagement and development.
