Are you a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organisational skills? We are seeking a dynamic Scheduler to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will ensure our scheduling operations run smoothly, guaranteeing timely and efficient coordination while adhering to all relevant guidelines and procedures.

  • 4 Days / 3 Nights, 4 Off - 3 Days / 4 Nights, 3 Off
  • Shift Times:
  • Early Shift: 05:30 - 13:30
  • Late Shift: 12:30 - 20:30
  • Security Scheduling:
  • Prior experience is advantageous but not required. Comprehensive training on scheduling systems will be provided.
  • Develop and maintain efficient scheduling processes to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Officer Scheduling:
  • Coordinate and assign security officers for a large national infrastructure project.
  • Ensure all shifts are covered, addressing any last-minute changes or emergencies.
  • Coverage Management:
  • Oversee and manage sickness and holiday schedules to ensure full coverage on all sites at all times.
  • Collaborate with operational managers to address coverage gaps and reallocate resources as needed.
  • Operations Centre:
  • Work within a dynamic and busy operations centre, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Opportunities for career progression into a controller position, with ongoing training and development.
  • Site Welfare:
  • Conduct daily welfare checks on-site to ensure the well-being of security officers.
  • Make necessary bookings and arrangements to meet site requirements and address any issues promptly.
  • Urgent Communications:
  • Draft and send out urgent emails regarding operational site changes, ensuring all relevant parties are informed.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication channels for rapid response.
  • Shift Handover:
  • Ensure clear and concise handovers between shifts, providing detailed updates and instructions to incoming staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of shift activities and any incidents.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between Client Representatives and the FRG Contract Manager.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • SIA Licence:
  • Must hold a valid SIA Licence, either Non-Frontline or Frontline.
  • Customer Service Commitment:
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing first-class customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and positive interactions.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Report Writing Skills:
  • Proficient in writing detailed and accurate reports, documenting incidents and daily activities.
  • Work/Education History:
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history, including full company names, addresses, and contact numbers.
  • Ability to provide references and verify employment/education details.
  • Observation Skills:
  • Excellent observation skills, with the ability to notice and report unusual activities or security breaches.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and documentation.
  • Reliability:
  • Consistent reliability and punctuality, maintaining a dependable presence in the workplace.
  • Scheduling Knowledge:
  • Preferred knowledge of scheduling processes and systems, with the ability to manage and coordinate shifts effectively.
  • PC Skills:
  • Competent PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems as required.
