A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our multi-professional team at the Early Intervention Team, Salford.

We seek an experienced, enthusiastic OT with leadership qualities, innovative ideas, and a special interest in mental health.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will have access to ongoing professional development, supervision, and training. Responsibilities include clinical leadership, supervision, developing clinical pathways, and supporting the team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

  1. Provide clinical and professional leadership and supervision to OT and MDT staff.
  2. Manage designated staff within EI.
  3. Support the development of the occupational therapy service.
  4. Engage with primary care and community services.
  5. Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethics.
  6. Maintain clinical competence through a designated caseload.
  7. Participate in duty and on-call rotas.
  8. Deputise for senior staff as needed.
  9. Develop clinical pathways within the team.
