Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced OT, Social Worker or Nurse to work within the Newham Early Intervention Service (NEIS). The service supports 18-65 year olds experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis, aiming to reduce the impact of psychosis by reducing the duration of untreated psychosis and engaging clients in biopsychosocial interventions. NEIS is a progressive and evolving team, seeking candidates who are interested in creative approaches to supporting individuals with First Episode Psychosis and whose values align with the team. Newham has a high rate of psychosis; NEIS aims to develop a sustainable model of care that collaborates with service users, families and community-based services. We welcome candidates passionate about using innovative and community-based approaches to support recovery for individuals and their networks. You would work in a highly motivated multidisciplinary team and will be supported in professional development through accredited training or new projects. We also welcome ideas to broaden the scope of therapeutic interventions.
