Job summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer for a Grays-based role. You will test, calibrate, and maintain temperature transmitters, flow sensors, and level switches, while creating P&IDs and collaborating with the controls team on PLC automation.

Design and install new automation hardware for plant upgrades. The position offers a Monday–Friday shift with substantial OT opportunities and a salary up to £46,350.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience working with a maintenance engineering team.
• Sound understanding of key instrumentation/electrical components and fault‑finding techniques.
• Previous COMAH experience is beneficial, though not essential.
