Cushman & Wakefield in Edinburgh is launching its EIC Edinburgh Building Surveying Graduate Programme 2027 for ambitious graduates.

As a Building Surveyor, you will gain hands-on experience across surveys, schedules of condition, dilapidations and construction projects, with client meetings and site visits.

The programme prepares you for the APC with RICS and offers a non-rotational path to develop specialist expertise within Building Surveying.

About the Role

Building Surveyor As a Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in evaluating the quality of buildings and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will provide expert advice on repairs, maintenance, and restoration options, while also participating in the development of both new and existing buildings. During the graduate programme, you will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of activities within the UK and also potentially across Europe, from conducting building surveys and preparing schedules of condition, to managing dilapidations and construction projects. You will also attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and much more. By joining our Building Consultancy team, you will be involved in the full life cycle of buildings. Our programme aligns with the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) pathway through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, setting you on a path to achieving chartered status by the end of your programme. Our non-rotational approach ensures you develop specialized expertise within the Building Surveying division.

Eligibility

• Expected 2.1 or higher in a related degree
• GCSE grade ‘C/4’ in both Maths and English
• Successful candidates must by the start of their employment have permission to work in the UK
