Job summary

Resourcing Group are hiring an EIA Consultant to join the environmental team in Cardiff on a permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering Environmental Impact Assessments for major infrastructure projects, with emphasis on the water environment, combining analysis, fieldwork and client engagement.

You will prepare hydrology, hydrogeology and water environment chapters, use GIS, CAD and Excel for data analysis, lead site visits and help progress towards chartership.

Qualifications

• Degree (2:1 or above) in a numerate/environmental discipline.
• 2 years + EIA chapter experience is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hydrology, hydrogeology and water environment EIA chapters.
• Use GIS, CAD and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Lead site visits and contribute to health and safety processes.
• Manage small projects and proposals (up to £10k).
• Progress towards professional chartership.
