Job summary
UK Power Networks is seeking an EHV Project Construction Engineer SAP in Kent to drive construction and programme delivery for assets from 400V to 132kV. You will work with Project Managers, Supervisors and contractors to keep projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
The role requires an HPNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, and a full driving licence. A track record in protection systems, fault diagnosis and safety compliance will be highly valued, with
Qualifications
- Senior Authorised Person experience or willingness to train, ideally at 132kV/33kV
- Strong knowledge of distribution networks up to 132kV
- Experience delivering construction programmes within energy infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Deliver construction programmes for assets up to 132kV
- Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors and clients
- Ensure safety compliance and budget control throughout projects
- Support procurement and practical delivery of capital works
