This role:

We are looking for an EHV Estimatorto come and joinour growing Commercialteam.

This will be someone who challenges what we do daily andthrives working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines helping usbuild for the future.

Requirements

An idea of what you'll be doing:

• Preparationof tendersfrom 33kV to 132kV
  
• Providingquotations and tenders for new connection works and turnkey projectsutilising Sinewave’s in-house teams and supply chain.
  
• Keyaccount management for new and existing customers including, top levelreview with the clients
  
• Talkingto manufacturers & suppliers to develop partnerships for a turnkeysolutions.
  
• Followingup quotations and bringing feedback to the tendering and sales team forunsuccessful quotations.
  
• Attendsite surveys & route walks, or tender interviews as necessary.
  
• Establishingkey aspects associated with client requirements, providing quotations,liaising with internal departments and submitting final overview ofproject ability to the client.
  
• Evaluatesupplier and subcontract returns to ensure compliance with the tenderspecification/documentation.
  
• Accuratelyundertake any necessary take-offs of drawings and schedules and performdata entry into the estimating software selected by the business. Followall company procedures for enquiry and tender handling.
  
• Draftcommentary regarding exclusions and clarifications associated with thereturn offer.
  
• Workingwith SimPro and other business systems to follow company processes andmaintain data integrity.
  
• Assistin creation / management or processes for the Estimating & MajorProjects team.

You'll have a proven track record of:

• Proficientin the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as MicrosoftOffice, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such assmart phones, tablets, laptops etc.
  
• Excellentcommunication, including ability to adapt communication styles andoutstanding listening skills with ability to follow verbal and writteninstructions
  
• Canuse basic information and industry knowledge/experience to us pulltogether tenders
  
• Stronginterpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative aswell as work collaboratively as part of a team
  
• Attentionto detail i.e. the ability to produce high quality proposals and reportswith minimal supervision.
  
• Abilityto work autonomously and as part of a team.
  
• Desireto mentor, train and manage new team members as the business grows
  

You’ll be a successful EHV Estimator at Sinewave ifyou’re…

• FullUK driving license (Maximum of 3 points)
  
• Qualificationin engineering or equivalent experience
  
• Alevel equivalent in literacy, numeracy and technology
  
• Musthave strong market knowledge and experience within the electricaldistribution sector both from 33kV up to 132kV.
  
• Experienceworking on large renewable projects and off site routes
  
• Provenexperience in the successful tendering of large scale projects
  
• Experienceof establishing strategic and operational partnerships.
  
• Wideexperience of handling complex business / commercial and in confidencesensitive information both internally and externally.
  
• Comply with all companypolicies, procedures, and business ethics codes, including theanti-bribery policy, while adhering to the Environmental and QualityManagement System in alignment with ISO standards and the requirements ofthe NERS accreditation.
