Job summary

Ipsum is seeking an experienced EHV Cable Jointer to join our expanding team in the UK. You will work on diverse electrical networks across DNO, IDNO, and private networks, performing jointing works up to 132kV with potential progression toward 275kV projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an EHV Cable Jointer up to 132kV.
• Good knowledge of the electricity industry, ideally with DNO experience.
• Comfortable working independently and leading teams when required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid CCNSG or CSCS card.
• Manufacturer approvals and authorisations transferable up to 132kV or above.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EHV cable jointing works on live and planned networks.
• Work on new supplies, network diversions, and alterations.
• Operate across DNO, IDNO, and Private Network projects.
• Join a team that prioritises safety, quality, and industry expertise.
• Develop career with opportunities for higher-voltage authorisations.
• Support the team on projects up to 132kV and beyond.
