Role Summary
- Act as the primary point of contact for all EHS-related matters on the SOV.
- Promote a strong and proactive safety culture among all personnel onboard.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, client standards, and internal policies.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and safety observations (STOPs).
- Perform routine inspections, audits, and risk assessments of vessel operations, transfers, and offshore work scopes (e.g., turbine maintenance, crew transfers).
- Support the development and review of risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems.
- Support incident and near-miss investigations; identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Liaise closely with the Marine Crew, Client Representatives, Contractors, and Subcontractors on EHS issues.
- Participate in emergency drills and ensure preparedness for potential offshore incidents.
- Provide EHS onboarding and induction for all new personnel joining the vessel.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to project EHS reviews.
