Job Opportunity: EHS Specialist

CK Group is recruiting for an EHS Specialist to join a chemical manufacturing company based in Derbyshire on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting day-to-day EHS activities within a leading Semiconductor and Electronic Materials manufacturing company, with a focus on process safety.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals and materials, supplying many companies worldwide.

Main Duties:
  1. Develop and implement process safety management systems.
  2. Assist with process safety aspects of a chemical process site.
  3. Provide guidance on current legal requirements for hazardous chemicals handling.
  4. Undertake and lead accident investigations and create accident reports.
  5. Conduct risk assessments, safety studies, and hazard analyses.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Demonstrable experience of EHS legislation.
  2. Process safety qualification such as NEBOSH certificate.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
  4. At least 3 years of specific Process Safety Engineering experience.
