EHS Manager

Location: Broughton, North Wales (onsite requirement)
Contract Duration: Until October 2026 (likely extension)
Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)
Rate: £40.00 Umbrella (DOE) Inside IR35

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join a major engineering organisation's Facilities Management & Real Estate team in Broughton. The role supports a safe, compliant, and inclusive workplace while overseeing EHS across facilities, construction, and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support FMRE operations, ensuring effective risk management and compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews of contractor safety systems.
  • Provide competent advice for projects in line with CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
  • Lead investigations, implement corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture.
Experience & Qualifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent.
  • Background in Facilities Management, Construction, or Real Estate environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, and auditing skills.
  • Knowledge of CDM and workplace safety legislation.
  • IOSH membership desirable.
