Qualifications

• Expérience confirmée en environnement de fabrication, de recyclage ou de gestion des déchets.
• Connaissance approfondie de la législation britannique sur la santé et la sécurité.
• Droit de travailler au Royaume-Uni sans parrainage requis.

Responsibilities

• Diriger la stratégie EHS sur site et son implantation.
• Gérer les audits ISO et les normes pertinentes.
• Représenter le site lors des réunions EHS corporatives.

About The Role

You'll join as the site's EHS Manager, leading environmental, health & safety strategy at a key UK facility. Reporting into the Regulatory Compliance Director, you'll oversee a small team and ensure full compliance with UK legislation, while embedding a proactive safety culture in a 24/7 industrial operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site-wide EHS strategy, compliance and policy implementation
• Develop and deliver employee and contractor training, toolbox talks and workshops
• Manage ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant standards, audits, and improvements
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Represent the site in corporate EHS meetings and liaise with regulatory authorities
• Drive performance through EHS KPIs, reporting, and management engagement
• Oversee COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, CDM compliance and maintain emergency plans
• Occasional travel required to an off-site storage facility

Requirements

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification
• Proven experience in manufacturing, recycling, or waste management environments
• In-depth knowledge of UK HSE Legislation and ISO standards
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship
