Dornanare is currently recruiting for an EHS Advisor to work on a Data Centre project in North London.

Dornanare is a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Europe, and the UK.

Dornanare is involved in projects across sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical.

You will join a dedicated and ambitious team and benefit from a supportive culture where your ideas and contributions are recognized.

Reporting to the Site EHS Lead, key responsibilities include:

  1. Assist in developing safety documents.
  2. Conduct inspections as directed by the Safety Management system.
  3. Communicate audit findings to site management and assist in resolving issues per Dornan policy.
  4. Deliver health and safety inductions for all employees and contractors.
  5. Advise on personal protective equipment required by Dornan employees.
  6. Ensure subcontractor safety documents are produced, relevant, and compliant with legislation.
  7. Assist in drafting and communicating method statements for high-risk activities.
  8. Support records of statutory inspections for activities and equipment.
  9. Assist in incident and accident investigation reporting.
  10. Represent Dornan at site meetings when requested.
  11. Manage the Toolbox Schedule, including attendance records.
  12. Develop and communicate site emergency plans.
  13. Advise on first aid and fire marshal requirements.
  14. Recommend training requirements and ensure subcontractors meet them.
  15. Assist in preparing the safety file for client handover.
  16. Provide safety reports to head office as needed.
  17. Promote compliance and good practices in health, safety, and welfare management.
  18. Follow reasonable instructions from senior management.
  19. Provide monthly KPI statistics.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
