Job summary

Weetabix is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to support our Burton Latimer cluster. You will drive the EHS strategy on site, lead audits to Green status, and coach factory teams to own EHS processes, risk registers and performance.

You’ll contribute to safe design for engineering and capital projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. You will be a visible presence on the factory floor, delivering expert EHS guidance, with a focus on zero accidents and zero

Qualifications

  • Experience in HSE roles within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
  • Good working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and risk management points.
  • Experience completing risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Able to use data and digital tools to interpret and communicate HSE insights.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability reporting.
  • Experience with digital safety systems, automation, or real‑time monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of behavioural safety or human factors.
  • Continuous improvement skills (Lean, problem‑solving, visual management).
  • Ability to contribute to safe design for engineering and capital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the manufacturing EHS strategy and standards across the cluster.
  • Lead the internal audit programme to achieve and maintain Green status.
  • Coach and support factory teams to take ownership of EHS processes, programmes, risk registers, objectives, and performance.
  • Provide EHS expertise for all new projects and change management activities.
  • Maintain the incident reporting system, support investigations, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date EHS information is available to internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement.
  • Deputise for the Cluster EHS Manager when required.

Be a visible force on the factory floor, delivering expert Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) support, coaching, and guidance to bring our cluster manufacturing, health and safety (EHS) strategy to life. Drive high standards, ensure legal compliance, and help us achieve our vision of zero accidents and zero environmental incidents.

We are looking for an experienced EHS Advisor from a manufacturing background.

The Recipe (About the Role)
