NHS Highland is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Senior Projects Manager to work within its eHealth Projects Delivery Team to lead the delivery of key digital transformation projects within NHS Highland. The post will initially focus on completing the successful delivery of the already underway PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and RIS (Radiology Information System) projects, supporting the transition to new clinical systems that are critical to radiology services and wider patient care.
Following the delivery of the PACS and RIS priorities, the role will move on to support other high-profile pieces of work across the digital and transformation portfolio including the delivery of projects contributing to the NHS Highland Electronic Patient Record.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident project professional with experience of managing large-scale change, working across multiple stakeholders and delivering complex projects in a health or public sector environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with clinical, operational, technical and supplier teams to ensure effective planning, effective governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management and delivery against agreed milestones. They will be expected to manage project workstreams, support decision-making, maintain clear reporting arrangements and ensure that benefits are documented and owned.
