Job description

Job Overview

Hours: 24 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Primary Location: Southgate, but may be required to travel to any one of our main campuses.

Role Responsibilities

EHCP Advisers will be responsible for responding to local authority EHCP consultations in a timely manner, identifying EHCP students and applicants requiring high needs funding within our specialist and mainstream provisions. The successful candidate will support student success through ongoing monitoring and tracking of student progress, liaising with the wider college staff to enhance the student experience, and supporting planning and transition arrangements into further education, training, and employment.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills
  • GCSEs at grades A-C in English & Maths (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements regarding student information
  • Understanding of quality improvement processes, student engagement strategies, initial assessment processes, and high needs funding claims
