Job summary

A leading company is seeking an EHC Coordinator to manage the EHC needs assessment process. This fully remote role requires experience in local authority work, strong casework skills, and the ability to handle a significant caseload. The EHC Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all EHC plans are reviewed annually and maintaining accurate records of all decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a similar role within a Local Authority (12 months minimum).
  • 250+ caseload experience required.
  • Experience in tribunals and assessment work.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £302 umbrella a day (£235 PAYE a day)

Hampshire County Council are looking for an EHC Coordinator to join their team. This role is fully remote.

Role:

  • Manage the EHC needs assessment process for a set locality
  • Be the key contact and responsible for carrying out day to day casework, ensuring quality, consistency and the effective prioritization of tasks for a set number of cases within a locality
  • Ensure that all processes and decisions are accurately recorded on the SEN database and the casework file and that all relevant parties are informed
  • Ensure that all children have their EHC plans reviewed annually and that where required transition plans are completed

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role within a Local Authority (12 months minimum in a placement)
  • 250+ caseload experience
  • Experience in tribunals and preparing packs etc.
  • Experience carrying out 20 week assessment work
