Willow Grove Primary School is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to lead the EHC review process and ensure appropriate provision is delivered in line with duties. You will work closely with the Local Authority and relevant agencies, addressing issues and representing the school in formal resolution when necessary.

The role involves liaising with senior leaders and staff to develop robust in-school procedures for EHC outcomes reporting, and contributing to new processes while advising

Qualifications

• Level 5 qualification or evidence of working towards or equivalent relevant experience in SEN setting.
• Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or other relevant settings).
• Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of social care and health systems which contribute to EHC pathways.
• Experience in chairing and leading multi-agency meetings.
• Experience in organising, developing and motivating staff.
• Evidence of implementation of policies and strategies.

Responsabilités

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a passionate, positiveand motivated individual who can:

• Actas lead manager for the review process of EHC Plans, ensuring that the specialeducational provision set out in the EHC Plan is delivered appropriately and inline with LA and school legal duties,
• Workeffectively with the LA and relevant professional agencies, addressing issuesor disagreements including where necessary representing the schools in formaldisagreement resolution or mediation.
• Liaisewith Senior Leaders, teachers, administration staff, the LA SEND Team and otherrelevant professionals, in the further development of a robust procedure inschool, to ensure progress towards EHC outcomes are reported fully at reviewmeetings and to make amendments to any EHC Plan as necessary.
• Contributeto the design and development of new processes, procedures and ways of working
• Inliaison with the Senior Leadership Team, advise class staff about best practicein writing summative reports for the Annual Review of EHC plans.

Personal Qualities
